Ugly Little Doll - Aternative Rock... Beyond the Alternative

Hailing from Brooklyn, New York comes one of America's newest alternative voices... Ugly Little Doll. Ugly Little Doll was created from the minds of Christian Rayne and tH3 j3ReMy in 2007. We collectively felt that everyone was starting to sound the same in every musical genre and decide it was time for a change, we are that change. We took everything we love and despise in this life and channeled it through the music, which lives and breathes with each and every note and lyric.

As children in the 80s we found that the layering of synths and drum machines that drove the sound of new wave moved people, so we incorporate the same feel with a twist of new millennia heaviness and edge. So when that meets Christian's blistering distorted bass licks and tH3 j3ReMy's unique vocal style it combines into something never heard before and something that can and will not be duplicated, a one of a kind sound that reaches the very depths of ones senses.

We want to move your soul and your body and we will. Ugly Little Doll is engineered and produced by tH3 j3ReMy who is a graduate of the institute of audio research in New York, so he is truly responsible for what the band sounds like on every level sonically. "There is no one who understands what you want to sound like but you so he took matters into his own hands" - said tH3 j3ReMy.

tH3 j3ReMy has been a fixture in the underground scene since his teens, and Christian has played in many punk and hardcore projects thus giving them street cred and roots which lay the foundation for an uncompromising sound. We hope you enjoy it as much as we love playing it.

In 2010, Ugly Little Doll released their 11 track debut album My Crucifiction: Volume One worldwide via DSN Music. Many industry observers described the release as a sound reminiscent of Depeche Mode, Sisters of Mercy and the Deftones.
