Scotty B
l
Scott Bergevin aka Scotty B, began his dream as a musician playing drums at early age of 12, and  played in various rock bands throughout his teen years. After high school, Scotty B joined San Francisco Bay area hard rock and heavy metal band Notorious. The group became very popular in Northern California, and played shows with popular national rockers Racer X, Paul Dianno's Battlezone, Pat Travers and more. After Notorious broke up, Scotty B continued drumming for many rock acts in the Bay in the late 1980's into the 1990s. During his down-time Scotty B studied aeronautics for 3 years and recieved an A&P license. During most of his musical projects, Scotty B grew an interest in the new medium known as the Internet. As the mid-1990s approached, a new concept of online music downloads was introduced, and Scotty B was there to see its birth.

Scotty B worked for a fledgeling online music company in Napa, California known as Nordic Music, who pioneered the mp3 music business in the United States. The company later became Emusic.com, and a secondary company known as Onlinemusic.com. Scotty B worked with hundreds of new artists, and coordinated their online music content. Scotty B moonlighted as a radio personality for the online radio network PunkRadio, in which he was known as Angry Scotty. Scotty B felt that he wasn't moving in the direction, of where he wanted to be in the music industry. The office life kept him from the studio. He quit his .com job, and rented a studio apartment in the heart of California's wine country. From this modest apartment he began to write his songs, and create.

The new direction would lead him back to where he began, as a drummer, as well as an inspiring writer of music with cutting edge lyrics. Scotty B joined the Bay area group Blue Hail, and has been performing live since. He then decided to create a separate project, using his knowledge of the digital download business, studio skills, and humorous writing to create Scotty B & The B-Side Orchestra. He is also a home beer brewer, who finds his popularity just great with love for both music and suds.

In 2004, Scotty B returned to the studio, and produced his first comedy music project Soccer Mom. The CD featured many tracks that push the envelope, but have become very popular as mp3 downloads on the web. His first single All The Good Beer Is Gone, has become a popular download on college campuses accross the U.S. The track has also received radio airplay as comedic relief. The title track Soccer Mom, has also grown in popularity, with its in your face campy sound... a favorite for online surfers with a flavor for off the wall humor. Scotty B found himself another niche as food media programs used his single "All The Good Beer..." for their program specials on beer. Including the like of the Food Network cable TV channel to a podcast for Eatfeed.com.

In 2006, Scotty created popular radio promos for Fox Sports Radio stations, such as KDKT-AM Bismarck, ND. Scotty stopped by the KDKT studios to do a live acoustic set, and other crazy bits. - Full Story.  Scotty is currently writing and recording a full length CD which he hopes to have complete in the fall of 2007. He also created the modern holiday themed single Christmas Time, which came with the popular music video download. The new album Twisted Tunes For Twisted Times features the new singles Homeless Man and I'm Not Going To Work Today, DSN Music presents these tracks for digital download today!
