Bismarck
-- Comedy singer and songwriter Scotty B, of Scotty B and The B-Side Orchestra, made a guest appearance at the Fox Sports Radio studios in North Dakota. The on-air crew of Fox Friday Night Live got a surprise, as the satirical Scotty B did a live acoustic set during the show. Fox Sports Radio's Jeff Baranick, Jim Kusler, Dawson Austin, and Dusty Rhodes joined in on the event. Scotty B grew to fame with the underground internet hit
"All The Good Beer Is Gone", which has received national radio airplay, and a top online download. Recently Scotty produced the new "Hey North Dakota" theme song for Fox Sports Radio, which broadcasts daily.
.
Scotty B who hails from Napa California, was visiting North Dakota as part of a promotional tour for DSN Music. Besides "All The Good Beer Is Gone,"  Scotty also performed his new hit "Homeless Man" live during the interview. The crew poked fun at daily sports news, as Scotty chimed in with his off the wall charm.

The laughter really began as Scotty B serenaded Fox Sports Radio media associate Dusty Rhodes, with the hilarious song "When Dead-Air Dusty Sleeps."  The studio audience was in stitches, as was Dusty! During the interview Scotty shared his views on sports events of the day. FSR's Jeff Baranick asked who was his favorite football team -"...the 49ers, because they rhyme with Miners!" he replied. Scotty being from the San Francisco Bay area, couldn't help to tie in his team with the victorious Miners football team from Beulah. Scotty also shared with listeners a story about a UFO cover-up around the Minot Air Force base.
.
This visit marked the second visit from Scotty B to the Fox Sports Radio 1410 studios. Scotty made news in North Dakota on his last visit, as he announced on-air the Scotty B Challenge... who could eat a slice of bread under 60 seconds. A KDKT engineer took that challenge, as Jeff gave a play by play report of the contest. The studio engineer won the Scotty B challenge, just shy of one minute. A world record was made live on Fox Sports Radio 1410! Unfortunately, no one else would challenge the time, which make's him current champion of the event. This contest had to be a first for North Dakota radio, if not the world!

Scotty B's visit to the radio station, is just one of many projects the talented artist is working on. He is also a veteran drummer, who has played with many rockers, including his current band Blue Hail. Scotty is currently touring in an effort to raise awareness of his music, and his new album which is currently in production. A special sneak peak was played on Fox Friday Night Live, with the beta version of his new album Twisted Tunes for Twisted Times.

Fox Friday Night Live, hosted by KDKT Sportscaster Jeff Baranick and former North Dakota Secretary of State Jim Kusler, has been broadcasting since the summer of 2006, Friday nights at 9pm/10p ct. Many high profile guests from the Bismarck area have been interviewed on the show, ranging from local coaches to a state Senator. Live from the DSN Radio Ranch, the popular weekly show also covers community news and sports updates from all over North Dakota.
