Young rapper Dan Bangz is a New York City
native hailing from Staten Island, where from the age of 12 decided his
path in life was music. What started out as a hobby, became a passion
for the fresh freestyling crooner. His humble beginnings included
cutting his chops on a $5 mic, to recording his own Hip-hop tracks on
his PC. The word of Dan's sound spread quick around Staten Island, as
he distributed his music to friends, and locals. Popularity led
to the creation of his own independent record label Costra Records, co-founded
with fellow crew members Ritz,
and DJ Krisp. Dan then
recruited new talent, and fresh MCs to join him in the creation of the Costra Clique. The first
single ready for the streets was "Say
That", which would make its debut on Top-40 powerhouse Z100.
Entering his
first single Say That into a
talent contest on Z100
radio, turned Dan's dream into reality. Even though he did not
win the talent showcase, his music made it to the airwaves on one of
the largest radio stations in New York City, if not the U.S. This
exposure helped the name of Dan Bangz
get noticed in the big Apple,
helping CD distribution increase on word of mouth. Attending many
battle of rappers, and live freestyle events with only his original
lyrics, and rhymes. Dan went behind the mic to cut more fresh tracks.

downloads on the Internet, with their raw sound, and hypnotic

east coast rapper Mike Krisp,
creating the hit online single Let's
Get Naked.
Over
the last 3 years, Dan has produced
over 200 songs, and samples via his 6 independent releases. Working out

following, as fans have grown around the Unites States, and now the
