Conner has been a growing presence in the Kansas City and worldwide independent music scene for the past two years. Through nothing more than word of mouth, extensive live shows and a few songs on the Internet, Conner has built a local fan base and grabbed the attention of rockers from Sweden, Germany and the U.K. The band daily receives requests from around the world requesting CDs and live performances. Finally, some of this insatiable interest can be satisfied upon release of The White Cube. Ready to expand upon their limited but strikingly effective reach, Conner is now able to provide their catchy, distinct but undeniably rock sound to fans and the pressConner also broke new ground with creating their own independent label - Lenore Adora Records, to distribute their new release. The first single from the album "Have You Ever Been Asleep", has received great raves, and downloads on the Internet.  The track became one of the first alternative rock songs available on DSN Music, and is getting massive hits. DSN's Guy W. Giuliano says "The guys have such a raw underground sound, that it's hard to believe it's not pre-produced!" Apparently their growing fan base thinks so, as Conner made headlines at New York City's  legendary Piano's recently. The buzz continues via radio stations from the Midwest to the East coast. "The White Cube is one of the most requested albums in 2003." Bill Colbourn, PD KJHK-FM/Lawrence, KS.

Conner has become a player in the music scene launching from Kansas City and beyond, making headlines via: Lawrence.com, Rockkansas.com, Lawrence Journal-World, MP3.com's "Pick of the Week", The Daily Kansan, Kansas City's Weekly Critic's Choice for the Pitch, and more! "They have some potential for mainstream alternative success but that's not going to keep me from liking them..." - Shawn Abnoxious, Editor Landing Partyzine- Fairfield, OH. In recent years, Conner has gone on tour, and opened for some of today's hottest acts including The Killers.

Conner is James Julian Duft/guitarist/singer/songwriter/producer, Tom Wagner/guitarist/back-up vocalist/engineer/co-producer, Phil Bonahoom bassist, Bryce Boley/Drums. Combining punk edginess, new wave dance beats and straight-up rock and roll, Conner has created a CD that's powerful and uniquely diverse. This eclectic mix is the product of more than two years of playing and song writing and six months of recording. 10 powerful and diverse tracks, featuring the hit singles "Have You Ever Been Asleep", radio favorite "Tuesday", and more. Conner's The White Cube is a must for  Punk and Alternative rock fans, looking for a fresh raw sound! Their follow-up 2006 release Hello Graphic Missile, is equally intelligent, and offers a more mainstream feel.
The new album distributed by Sonic Boom Recordings includes several popular singles such as: Cold Feelings, Enough for You and Me, and Up To You.

The 2006 release of Hello Graphic Missile, has received a heavy load of positive press-"Hello Graphic Missile" opens with a Stones-esque riff leading into the mid-tempo "Enough for You and Me" -  RockKansas.com. "I just feel like dancey rock is more fun, and we're just trying to have fun so all that comes out."  states leadman James Duft. Conner has finally come in to a more mainstream sound, with the recent emergence, and success of groups such as the Stokes, and The Killers. CMJ stated The rock rejuvenators at work here are bound to make their mark in the current garage revival scene " especially as they add an approach to songwriting that's notably original; if anything, Conner is a trailblazer in the resurgence." DSN Music is proud to present several of Conner's most popular songs for digital download..
